Overview

In this role, you will support development and validation of applications for commercial and industrial buildings, infrastructure and critical power, with a focus on data centers. You work with experts in office and lab settings to develop electrical applications, perform testing, and translate findings into technical documentation and training. You’ll share insights with stakeholders and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization. This is a hands-on, cross-functional engineering role in ABB’s Smart Power scope.

Responsabilità

- Support development and validation of applications for data centers and related power solutions
- Set up laboratory test environments and perform functional and performance testing on switchgear and power distribution equipment
- Document findings and translate validated work into technical documentation and training content
- Share insights from lab activities and field feedback with internal stakeholders




- Collaborate with application engineers, product managers, sales teams and other technical specialists
- Contribute to testing, documentation development, and customer-facing value propositions

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Hands-on experience with electrical equipment in laboratory environments
- Ability to follow testing and safety procedures
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Interest in learning and working with power distribution applications in electrification
