Overview

In this role you shape procurement strategy for a designated commodity and lead supplier engagements to meet business KPIs. You collaborate with Product Leadership, Sales, and Engineering to integrate commodity plans into product objectives. You drive supplier selection for new product development and negotiate terms for cost-effective, quality-aware sourcing. This position offers global, on-site collaboration with flexible working patterns and a focus on continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Responsabilità

- Contribute to long-term commodity strategies aligned with procurement KPIs
- Integrate commodity plans into product leadership, sales, engineering, and manufacturing objectives
- Lead supplier selection, development, and management for New Product Development with cross-functional support
- Partner with Product Leadership, Sales, and Engineering on product strategy for the commodity




- Develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations for single PO and strategic partnerships
- Negotiate and issue purchase orders to optimize cost, quality, and schedule
- Plan procurement activities for cost-out programs, deflation, cadence reductions, and cash-flow improvements (rebates, terms)
- Leverage S&OP; data to optimize supplier capacity against business goals

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering or Economics
- 1–3 years of experience in Procurement, Operations, or Supply Chain (preferred)
- Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
- Strong oral and written communication
- Positive attitude towards change and challenging situations
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills (desirable)
- Negotiation skills (desirable)
- Willingness to travel 5–10% (desirable)
