Wood is recruiting for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join its Projects Team, focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week. The Principal Electrical Engineer reports functionally to the Electrical Department Manager and operationally to one or more Project Managers. He/She is responsible, on projects, for leading a team of discipline engineers / designers, in a multi-office environment, while still performing technical tasks within the projects. Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, with 10⁄15 years of engineering experience in the required industry Fluent written and spoken English and Italian Excellent leadership skills in Electrical Engineering with ability to handle complex multi-office projects (mega-projects) Proven track record in handling large teams of electrical engineers structured and spread across different offices Conceptual, FEED and EPC / EPCm experiences Knowledge of international codes & standards e.g. IEC, ANSI, IEEE, CEI EN Proven knowledge of industry accepted electrical system analysis software such as ETAP and/or PTW SKM and Caneco Ability to use electrical data base, such as Intergraph Smart Electrical and Aveva Electrical, is a plus Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive Flexible to travel Compensation And Compliance Contract & Classification Contract type: Permanent Collective Agreement (CCNL): Quadro,
