Overview
In this role you will support automation across pharmaceutical manufacturing sites to maintain, optimize, and develop plant control and supervision systems while ensuring GMP compliance and safety. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement PLC/SCADA enhancements and drive digitalization projects that improve reliability and production quality. The position offers impact through shaping automation strategies and validating systems during commissioning and start-up activities. You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Responsabilità
- Support the maintenance and management of plant automation systems with manufacturing sites
- Assist in the implementation and enhancement of PLC and SCADA systems
- Participate in continuous improvement and digitalization projects for manufacturing processes
- Troubleshoot automated systems and coordinate with suppliers and site teams
- Support CSV and qualification activities
- Prepare and update technical documentation, SOPs, and intervention reports
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to ensure reliability and compliance
- Participate in FAT, SAT,
commissioning, and start-up activities for new equipment
- Ensure GMP, policies, and safety compliance
- Contribute to strategic decisions on future automation and technology implementations
Requisiti fondamentali
- 2–3 years of professional experience
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming and automation platforms (Siemens S7, Rockwell, ABB, Mitsubishi, Schneider Electric)
- Familiarity with HMI and SCADA systems (iFIX, Ignition)
- Knowledge of major industrial protocols (Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus)
- Understanding of OT architectures and industrial networks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- GMP environment and pharmaceutical regulations (advantage)
