Within the Test & Evaluation and Asset Management Area, we are looking for a Data and Simulation Management SW Developer for our Turin Caselle site.
Main activities: The resource will be inserted into the Test & Evaluation and Asset Management unit and in particular in the Data and Simulation Management discipline to primarily carry out SW development and integration activities of aircraft data management and analysis systems,
with the aim of ensuring the availability and full operability of the tools used by Test Engineers for the analysis of test data and the release of reports to other Engineering units.
The resource will mainly deal with: Analyze the requirements requested by Test Engineers for SW applications for managing and analyzing test data
- Define the design of SW applications from the requirements, ensuring traceability of requirements and adherence to the architecture defined by the SW project team
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and enhancement of SW Design, Coding and Testing environments in collaboration with system specialists and administrators (e.g.: Client vs. Server resource allocation, license management, performance evaluation, etc…)
- Develop code integrated into an agile SW Development process through the use of collaboration tools to make the implementation of an automated SW release build pipeline as effective and efficient as possible
- Support the entire process up to the SW verification and testing phases with progressive extensive use of automated testing tools while adhering to test procedures and streamlining their update methods in coherence with the evolution of SW requirements.
Educational qualification:
Three-year or five-year degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or others associated with Data Analysis profiles or at least 2 years of activity as a software developer Required experience level: Junior Technical/IT skills: Basic knowledge of C, C++, Python, Java languages Basic knowledge of MATLAB Basic knowledge of the MS Visual Studio SW Development environment Skills in interfacing with the main DBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) Knowledge of SQL languages Development of applications based on desktop client and on-premise architectures Basic knowledge of Microsoft and Linux Operating Systems Ability to use requirements traceability and SW design tools NICE TO HAVE: Knowledge of the main applicable design standards and certification (AQAP, MIL, FAA, EASA) Knowledge of avionics systems related to flight data acquisition and recording Behavioral skills: Ability to work in a team Organizational skills Ability to plan assigned tasks Problem solving and results orientation Curiosity and aptitude for learning Language skills: Good knowledge (B2 level or higher) of written and spoken English Other: Willingness to travel for short periods.
