The Role: Special Projects Design Intern

At Stone Island we are always looking for people who share our spirit and values to drive our company forward. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Special Projects Design Intern to join our team in Milan, with a creative mindset and organizational skills.

Your Impact

Main Responsibilities:

- Support the development of special projects, capsule collections and collaborative initiatives from concept through execution.
- Assist in the preparation of technical drawings, sketches, design presentations and moodboards.
- Support the review of prototypes and samples, contributing to the evaluation of design intent, materials and product execution.
- Organise and maintain project documentation, including artworks, colour references, technical files, finishes and product details.
- Contribute to research activities related to materials,



industrial processes, innovation and design trends.
- Prepare briefs, presentations and supporting materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency and attention to detail throughout the development process.

Qualifications

Requirements:

- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong interest in design, materials, industrial processes and innovation.
- Creative problem-solving mindset, with the ability to translate ideas into practical and achievable solutions.
- Creative yet technical approach, combined with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Precision in preparing presentations, technical documentation and project briefs.
- Good organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign).
- Knowledge of technical drawing and sketching.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
