About Us
We are a mental health startup with more than 8,000 users per month, an existing product, an international team, and a large library of psychometric tests and self-help content.
We already have traffic, users, content, a codebase, and a multidisciplinary team. We are not starting from zero. The challenge is turning an existing platform into something significantly better.
Our focus is to build an intelligent, scalable platform that uses AI to transform mental health support. By seamlessly combining data-driven psychometric insights with AI-guided peer-to-peer interactions, we empower users to build real, supportive connections and navigate meaningful mental wellness journeys together.
The Opportunity
We know that many good engineers already have demanding full-time jobs. We are not asking you to quit your job tomorrow.
We are looking for a senior software engineer who can contribute tempo parziale at the beginning and take ownership of important technical work.
As a co-founder, you would not only write code. You would help shape technical decisions, product direction, and the long-term development of the platform.
This role is most relevant for someone who wants to build their own startup, but prefers joining an existing project with users, traction, and a team rather than starting completely from scratch.
Our Tech Stack (And Our Philosophy)
Our current architecture leverages a core set of tools, including: React, Next.js, Flutter, MySQL…
However, our engineering philosophy is simple: tools change, but great engineering principles remain.
We are not looking for someone who only knows one specific framework. We believe that top-tier professionals are language-agnostic and capable of adapting to whatever stack best serves the product. If you think a different tool does the job better, you'll have the autonomy to make that call with the team.
What You Would Work On
- Work within the existing codebase and on new AI based functionalities.
- Improve reliability, performance,
and maintainability.
- Turn product requirements into working software.
- Make technical decisions together with the CTO and founding team.
- Help improve engineering practices as the team grows.
Who This Fits This role will probably be a good fit if:
- You want to build your own startup.
- You are a strong full-stack developer.
- You are comfortable working with an existing codebase.
- You are pragmatic and able to ship working software.
- You can work independently and communicate clearly.
- You use AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools.
- You are eager to learn and improve your existing skills.
- You can contribute around 10–15 hours per week, even if there is little or no cash compensation at the beginning.
- You are open to a cooperative co-founder model where ownership depends on contribution.
- You are able to communicate with team in English language (spoken and written)
Compensation and Ownership Our current revenue is still small. This means there is little or no cash compensation at the beginning.
We operate as a cooperative of co-founders. Ownership is earned through contribution, and co-founders participate under the same general principles.
As revenue grows, we intend to increase the cash component for contributors.

We are based in Delaware, USA, with an international team from Germany, Brazil, Egypt, Slovenia, Canada, the United States, and other countries.
The team includes people working on psychology, product, design, development, marketing, and operations.
