Finance Administration Analyst

Galileo is a fast-growing renewable energy IPP, investor and operator, currently in the very dynamic start-up phase. Since our foundation in 2020, we have secured a pipeline of over 17 GW of solar PV, onshore wind, offshore wind and storage projects across nine markets in Europe.
We are looking for a Finance Administration Analyst to manage payment activities and support accounting and administrative processes for all legal entities of the Galileo Group across Europe. The role will work closely with the company’s Treasury team to ensure that payments are accurate, properly authorized, and processed within the agreed deadlines. This person will be based in Milan (with the possibility of hybrid remote working) and report to the Accounting Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and manage payment proposals for suppliers and other company obligations;
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of payment documentation;
- Ensure that purchase orders, invoices and payments have followed the appropriate approval process;
- Coordinate payment schedules and deadlines with the Treasury team;
- Reconcile payment transactions and investigate any discrepancies;
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders regarding payment status and administrative matters;
- Associate purchase invoices with orders and verify their approval;
- Support accounting activities related to accounts payable and bank transactions;
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities;
- Contribute to the improvement and automation of payment and administrative processes.
Requirements
What you'll need
- At least 2 years of experience in procurement, finance or accounting roles;
- Diploma in Accounting and/or Degree in Accounting or Finance subjects;
- Good knowledge of the English Language (especially written);
- Very good communication skills;
- Aptitude for problem solving and ability to work in a team.
