Works closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and suppliers to support business growth, product development, and operational excellence.About the RoleResponsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for hydraulic components and related technical commodities, ensuring the supply of high-quality materials and services while achieving cost, quality, and delivery objectives.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement sourcing strategies for hydraulic components, including pumps, valves, cylinders, manifolds, fittings, castings, forgings, machined parts, and assemblies.Lead supplier selection processes, RFQs, cost analysis, contract negotiations, and supplier qualification activities.Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and drive supplier performance improvements.Conduct supplier performance reviews focused on quality, delivery, cost,
innovation, and sustainability.Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements to achieve cost reduction targets.Identify savings opportunities through market analysis, benchmarking, and value engineering initiatives.Monitor commodity trends and proactively manage supply market risks.Support new product development and product change initiatives in partnership with Engineering.Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality teams to improve inventory management, supply continuity, and supplier quality performance.Qualifications7-10+ years of procurement experience within manufacturing environments.Required SkillsStrong experience sourcing hydraulic components and technical commodities.Proven success in supplier negotiations and cost reduction initiatives.Experience working in international and matrix organizations.Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, manufacturing processes, and supply chain principles.Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced data analysis tools.Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical, and project management skills. xysqume Preferred SkillsExperience working in international and matrix organizations.
