Overview

In this role you drive characterization, development and optimization of cable materials. You work within R&D; to link polymer structure with properties, guiding formulation and manufacturing improvements. You interpret multi-technique data to support material development, troubleshoot issues, and deliver clear recommendations to cross-functional teams. You will produce technical reports and collaborate with engineering to scale processes for cable products. This position offers hybrid Milan presence and the chance to contribute to innovative, high‑impact cable technology.

Responsabilità

- Perform advanced polymer morphological characterization to assess dispersion of polymeric and inorganic phases
- Correlate polymer structure with chemical-physical, rheological, and electrical properties
- Conduct comparative analyses to support material development, troubleshooting, and product optimization




- Analyze, interpret, and model complex multi-technique datasets
- Generate clear technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for R&D; and engineering teams
- Support development of optimized material formulations and manufacturing processes for cable products

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science or Materials Science
- Proven experience in polymer materials characterization and microscopy
- Solid understanding of polymer physics, chemistry, and structure–property relationships
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Decision making, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong teamwork, results orientation and ambitious mindset
