WeWorld opened this Roster for Country Representatives with strong experience in both development and emergency settings and interested for short notice, short terms deployments in countries where WeWorld would experience unexpected gaps.

Short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview and selected candidates will become part of WeWorld roster list of professionals who will be contacted when needed.

Being part of the list does not guarantee any immediate of future collaborations with WeWorld. Inclusion on the roster list will be active for the ongoing year and can be renewed upon mutual agreement between WeWorld and the roster list members.

Job description

The Country Representative is based in the country for which he/she is the legal representative and head of mission of the organization. He/she reports to the Head of Regional Unit.





MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

- Provide overall leadership, strategic direction, and accountability for WeWorld's country programme.

- Represent WeWorld with donors, government authorities, UN agencies, partners, and other key stakeholders.

- Lead the development and implementation of the country strategy and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.

- Drive partnership development, fundraising, and resource mobilization efforts.

- Ensure the quality, relevance, impact, and compliance of all programmes and projects.

- Oversee the security, safety, and operational management of the country office.

- Lead, supervise, and support expatriate, national staff, and volunteers, promoting a positive and high-performing work environment.

- Ensure sound financial management, internal controls, and compliance with donor and organizational requirements.

- Guide external communication, advocacy, and policy implementation to strengthen visibility and influence. xlwpduy

- Promote knowledge management, organizational learning, innovation, and continuous improvement across the country programme.
