About the OpportunityThis is a unique opportunity to join one of Europe's most advanced research and testing environments supporting technologies such as: Galileo, EGNOS, LEO-PNT, Hybrid Navigation Systems, Next-generation Positioning, Navigation & Timing solutions.You will contribute to testing, validation and automation activities within cutting-edge laboratory facilities dedicated to space, connectivity and emerging technologies.
The role combines software development, laboratory automation, instrumentation management, data analysis and GNSS technologies within a highly international and multidisciplinary environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Automation & Software DevelopmentDevelop automation tools for laboratory testing activitiesBuild and maintain software for managing scientific instrumentationCreate and execute test vectors for navigation and positioning projectsDevelop solutions using Python and MATLABLaboratory & Instrumentation SupportOperate and manage advanced laboratory equipment including:Spectrum analysersOscilloscopesSignal generatorsSDR platformsGNSS receivers and simulatorsTiming and synchronization systemsData Analysis & ValidationAnalyse experimental results and performance metricsCreate data visualisation dashboards and reportsSupport testing and validation campaigns for European navigation programmesInfrastructure & Network SupportSupport laboratory network administrationContribute to laboratory maintenance and continuous improvement initiativesAssist in the deployment and operation of technical environmentsRequirementsEssentialDegree in Telecommunications, Navigation, Geomatics, Engineering, Computer Science or similarStrong Python and/or MATLAB development skillsMinimum 3 years of experience in:Version control systems (Git or similar)Data analysis and visualisationScientific or laboratory instrumentationFamiliarity xysqume with GNSS technologies and satellite navigation systemsGood knowledge of Linux environmentsStrong English communication skills (B2+)Nice to HaveNetwork administration experienceEmbedded development or VHDL knowledgeSDR (Software Defined Radio) experienceExperience with AI tools and AI-assisted workflowsKnowledge of Galileo, EGNOS or positioning technologiesAdditional European languageEU Security Clearance (or eligibility)What We OfferCompetitive salaryPermanent or freelance engagementWork on strategic European space and navigation programmesInternational and multicultural environmentLong-term project stabilityAccess to advanced research laboratories and technologiesExposure to cutting-edge GNSS, PNT and space innovation projectsCollaborative engineering environment#J-*****-Ljbffr
