Shift Leader

For our power electronics manufacturing plant in San Giovanni Valdarno (AR), we are looking for a Shift Leader who will coordinate shift operations and contribute to achieving company objectives in terms of safety, quality, efficiency, and on‑time delivery.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a Safety First culture.
- Coordinate the production team, ensuring achievement of production targets and monitoring key KPIs, including OEE, Efficiency, FPY, Scrap, and Downtime.
- Manage and promptly resolve operational issues, coordinating support functions to minimize deviations from targets and equipment downtime.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Quality, Logistics, and Manufacturing) to ensure operational continuity, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure effective shift handovers, support problem‑solving activities related to processes, quality, and equipment, and promote continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, 5S).
- Manage team organization and development, ensuring adequate staffing levels, training,
maintenance of skill matrices, and support for the introduction of new products and processes (NPI).
Your Background
- Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Production, Industrial Management, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing environments, including previous experience in shift coordination or operational team management.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop people in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and structured problem‑solving techniques.
- Good knowledge of occupational Health & Safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to analyze production data and KPIs to support decision‑making and performance improvement.
- Good command of both Italian and English, written and spoken.
