ppRINA is currently recruiting for a bJunior Naval Architect Marine Engineer - Categorie Protette /b to join its office in bGenoa, Italy /b within the bPlant Engineering /b Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pWithin RINA Consulting Engineering Department, we are looking for a Junior Naval Architect Marine Engineer - Categorie Protette 68/99, to join the established Discipline named "Floaters" which deals with marine/offshore projects in several market sectors like OilGas, Renewables and Maritime. /p pWe are selecting a highly motivated engineer, registered as a protected category under italian Law 68/99, who would like to join a dynamic team based in Genova, willing to develop technical, managerial and soft skills competencies. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul liDevelop engineering analyses relevant to design consultancy for vessels, floating structures and floating terminals; /li liExecute engineering studies with dedicated software (e.g., Optimoor, Orcaflex, Aqua, Ansys, Napa) for marine aspects, covering areas such as mooring, maneuvering, offshore design and marine operations in general; /li liCarry out design and engineering consulting activities at different levels (concept selection, basic design, feasibility studies, FEED) relevant to nearshore and offshore projects; /li liReview and analyze engineering documents, verifying compliance with project requirements and applicable codes and standards; /li liReport and summarize the assigned projects; /li liAssist in the review of technical documents during the bidding phase; /li liCooperate in drawing up technical-commercial proposals and technical papers; /li liWork in multi-disciplinary projects,
conducting specialist engineering studies and design activities in collaboration with other specialists and subcontractors; /li liAssist in relationships with clients also through meetings or developing activities at their premises; /li liSupport the control of technical activities provided by sub-contractors and technical deliverables issued; /li liSupport the activities as member of the project team and assist Senior Engineers in solving technical problems arising during projects; /li liReport to the Senior Colleagues and line Manager, providing updates on assigned tasks and project progress. /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor’s Degree in Naval Engineering or Mechanical Engineering /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMandatory requirement: Registered as a protected category under Italian Law 68/99 (collocamento mirato) /li liMaster’s Degree in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering, or equivalent Diploma (having 1-2 years of professional experience in marine and offshore projects/research programs will be considered as a plus); /li liAwareness with Class Rules, International Standards (e.g., API, ISO, PIANC, Class Rules); /li liBasic understanding of marine/offshore assets (such as FPSO, FSRUs, FLNGs, FSUs, CNG carriers, fixed platforms,

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €30000 and €38000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
