About the RoleThis is a hands?on product development and design engineering position focused on turning concepts into manufacturable EV charging hardware.
You will work on the development and optimization of mechanical products and components in a dynamic, high-tech environment.
What You Will DoDevelop and optimize mechanical products and components
Design mechanical components such as power electronics housings, charging components, and current?carrying parts (busbars, mounting brackets, covers, cooling?related parts)
Create manufacturing and assembly drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs)
Evaluate and test prototypes, including inspection, assembly, fit checks, and root?cause analysis
Coordinate technically with suppliers to ensure manufacturable designs
Collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering teams
Day?to?Day ActivitiesCAD design work in SolidWorks
Drawings and BOM management
Product development and problem solving
Supplier interaction
Prototypes and testing
What You BringTechnical high school diploma or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience in mechanical design and product development
Experience with manufacturing processes (sheet metal forming, injection molding, machining, etc.) xysqume is an advantage
Knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
Good English, German, and/or Italian language skills
Ability to communicate with suppliers and support prototype builds and design iterations
