Role : Head of concept design

Location : Milan or Dublin

Department : Data Centres

Contract : Freelance

Responsibilities

- Lead concept design for major data centre projects, from feasibility through to developed concept.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams across architecture, civil, structural and MEP disciplines.
- Drive design optimisation, value engineering, constructability and standardisation to meet cost and programme objectives.
- Lead engagement with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear design direction and decision-making.

Requirements

- Proven senior-level experience delivering data centre projects .
- Strong multidisciplinary design knowledge, with a solid understanding of data centre MEP, resilience and critical infrastructure .
- Experience leading design teams and managing clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
- Strong commercial and construction mindset, with a track record of delivering practical, innovative and buildable design solutions .
- EU passport
