Application AnalystMilan - ItalyHybridAbout the TeamOur Implementation team works closely with healthcare organizations to successfully implement InterSystems’ solutions, helping customers improve their clinical workflows and achieve the maximum value from our products.We are looking for an Application Analyst with previous experience implementing healthcare information systems within hospital environments. This is an excellent opportunity to combine your healthcare expertise, understanding of clinical workflows, and customer-facing skills in an international software company.The role is based in Milan and offers a hybrid working model. The position may require travel to customer sites for up to 5 days per week, depending on project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesUse your healthcare, business, and InterSystems product knowledge to ensure successful, timely, and standardized implementation of InterSystems solutions.Become a trusted product expert and point of reference for customers throughout the implementation lifecycle.Understand customers’ business and clinical processes and assess the best solution to meet their needs.Advise customers on how to maximize the benefits of InterSystems solutions while minimizing customer-specific development and configuration.Work closely with customers to define requirements, map processes, and identify opportunities for process improvement.Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams to ensure successful delivery of implementation projects.Prepare functional documentation and other project-related materials.Conduct customer training, workshops, demonstrations, and presentations.Build effective relationships with key stakeholders at different levels within healthcare organizations, including clinical staff such as doctors and nurses.Support customers in adopting standardized solutions and best practices throughout the implementation process.Experience Required1+ years of professional experience in the healthcare sector, with a solid understanding of clinical workflows within the Italian healthcare system.Previous experience as an Application Analyst, Application Specialist,
or Configuration Specialist.Experience implementing healthcare information systems or software solutions within hospital environments.Experience working directly with customers, including clinical professionals such as doctors and nurses.Strong consulting, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience delivering training, workshops, or presentations to customers.Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.Experience in business/process mapping and requirements analysis.Experience producing functional documentation .Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Sciences, or a related healthcare discipline.Experience communicating with stakeholders at different levels within both public and private healthcare organizations.Fluency in Italian and English.Experience with software testing.Knowledge of hospital billing workflows within the Italian public and private healthcare sectors.AI CompetenciesComfortable using AI-powered tools to support research, analysis, documentation, and day-to-day work – Preferred.Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated information and apply appropriate professional judgement – Preferred.Key Regional BenefitsCompetitive salary of 40,000 gross per year + 3,000 annual premio.10 meal vouchers.Hybrid working model (3 days office / 2 days remote).Opportunity to work with healthcare organizations and stakeholders across Italy.International working environment with opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across InterSystems.Equal OpportunitiesInterSystems Italia is committed to ensuring equal opportunities for all candidates.
