Job DescriptionDatalogic is offering a Global Commodity ManagerElectronics role, reporting to the Head of Global Direct Commodity Management.This role will direct the procurement function to ensure an uninterrupted supply at optimum cost, and within the policies and guidelines established by management.Responsible for cost, quality and delivery performance of the Electronics Commodity. This position will be based at Monte San Pietro (BO).Role Mission:The Global Commodity ManagerElectronics leads a team of Commodity Buyers within the assigned commodity. He/She creates and implements global commodity strategy. Responsible for cost, quality and delivery performance of the assigned commodity. Manage supplier relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop Commodity ManagersDevelop and align commodity strategy with other functions in line with business needsEnsure global implementation of commodity strategyIntroduce new technologies and new suppliersSet cost and delivery targets for suppliers of assigned commodityManage supplier relationshipsEnsure commodity contractual coverageEnsure commodity compliance with company rules and policiesSupport the improvement of processes and standards in collaboration with Business Improvement TeamPlan annual budget of direct materials cost,
