ph3Mission /h3pthe arizona department of corrections rehabilitation and reentry (adcrr) aims to enhance public safety through modern correctional practices and meaningful engagements. /ph3Job summary /h3pthe industrial program specialist supervises workforce participants and community‑based work crews at arizona correctional industries (aci) sites, ensuring safety, security and efficient production in a manufacturing environment. /ph3Job duties /h3ullisupervise workforce participants and community work crews at aci sites. /lilimaintain safety and security of participants through site, vehicle, pat‑down and strip searches. /liliconduct continuous observations, accountability headcounts and performance evaluations. /lilioversee production activities and workforce conduct in manufacturing centers. /lilicoordinate with regional operations and workforce development managers to align schedules and operational needs. /lilireview work output, provide coaching and administer discipline when necessary. /liliensure timely completion and submission of incident, performance and operational reports. /liliassist participants in obtaining industry‑recognized credentials and apprenticeship programs. /lilimonitor contractors for compliance with aci contract obligations. /lilipartner with aci training and education manager to help participants secure post‑release employment. /lilioperate state vehicles to transport participants and attend to worksite needs.
