Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - Italian Type: Contract Compensation: $40/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities Evaluate AI training data in Italian by auditing transcription accuracy and forced alignment. Review and judge transcriptions for accuracy using a fixed set of error codes. Provide a pass or fail verdict with a rationale. Verify and correct audio segment timestamps for word-level alignment. Adjust segments as needed for accuracy. Apply consistent standards across judgments, ensuring careful listening and detailed feedback. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Qualifications Must-Have Native or near-native command of Italian as spoken in Italy.

Strong English reading and writing skills. Experience in transcription, subtitling, localization, linguistic annotation, or QA. Ability to apply a disciplined rubric consistently. Preferred Prior AI data annotation or model evaluation experience. Background in phonetics or linguistics . Experience with audio editing or waveform tools.
