Italdesign is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Team Leader to become part of the Ultra Limited Series body development team, with particular focus on BIW and Exteriors trim.

Ensuring the integration and the required performances of the different vehicle systems, within the competence fieldEnsuring/monitoring the robustness of the Typical sections, base for the Design convergence phaseEnsuring/monitoring the robustness of the Data released for tooling kick off and production (3D / 2D)Management/coordination of the work team, including cooperation with other departments, customers, engineering partners and product suppliersEnsure alignment on technical specifications between teamwork, departments and customerDefining/monitoring a time/budget planning and managing project workloadAchievement of the project's technical objectives relevant for the competence fieldManagement of "escalation" process on issues related to the competence fieldKey RequirementsKnowledge of body and trim development for productionKnowledge of materials and production technology with particular attention to Composites and AluminiumKnowledge of tooling lead timeKnowledge of main characteristic affecting target/performancesKnowledge on how to deal and interpret Design modelAbility to transform technical contents/targets into economic/geometric constraints into feasible process solutionsAbility to organize/motivate a teamwork depending on needs and contingent situationsProblem solving and ability to synthesize informationPriority management, proactivity, flexibility, resilienceAbility to manage component and system suppliersDecision making skills combined with an assertive and persuasive leadership styleAbility to anticipate, manage critical situations and provide effective solutionsPreferential RequirementsTechnical drawing and modeling (CAD processes, basic knowledge of Catia 5 and data release systems)Quality standards, processes, dynamics according to customer (OEM) process and requirementsLegislative/homologation/rating constraintsKnowledge of component validation methods and procedures (e.G. testing specifications)Ability to transfer methodology and know how in her / his own project team and to the rest of the department teamOther InformationEducation: Technical High School degree, Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Materials engineering or equivalent.Language skills: Fluent Knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required.
