The project
You will contribute to environmental data science, geospatial analysis, and sustainability activities within an international project supporting European institutions and agencies, working with large-scale datasets and advanced analytical methodologies.
- Environmental & Agricultural Data: Analyse, manage, and model large environmental and agricultural datasets, supporting evidence-based assessment and sustainability initiatives at regional and international scale.
- Data Science & Machine Learning: Develop and evaluate regression, predictive, classification, clustering, and Machine Learning models to extract insights from complex datasets.
- Geospatial Analysis: Apply geospatial and geo-statistical methodologies to environmental datasets,
using specialised tools for spatial analysis, mapping, and data visualisation.
- Environmental Indicators & Accounting: Support the development and evaluation of environmental indicators and contribute to natural capital accounting frameworks and platforms.
- Data Storytelling & Communication: Translate complex analytical results into clear visualisations, reports, and data-driven narratives for technical stakeholders, decision-makers, and senior audiences.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare analytical documentation covering methodologies, geospatial and geo-statistical assessments, data management processes, and analytical results.
