**Position Snapshot**
+ Nestlé Italiana, Milan HQ (Assago)
+ Undergraduates or graduates in Economics, Statistics, Data Science/Data Engineering, Management Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
Theoretical knowledge required (university level) about ERP, forecasting, make or buy, Supply Chain processes, objectives and methodologies (curricular or extra-curricular work experience in Supply Chain/Operations is a strong plus)

**Main Purpose of the Job**
The resource will support the Demand & Supply Planning team for the Coffee Business Unit in managing operations planning for some of the world’s most iconic brands, such as **Nescafé, Dolce Gusto and Starbucks** .
Depending on the scope of the internship, the candidate will have the opportunity to take actions on daily operational activities, including maintaining optimal stock levels across the network, tracking KPIs and updating forecasts.
The candidate will also support the Demand Planner in data analysis activities, such as reviewing historical trends, identifying recurring patterns and contributing to the creation of dashboards and reporting/analytical tools
In addition, the candidate will contribute to projects aimed at improving cross-functional supply chain processes, with objectives such as reducing total delivered costs, enhancing service levels and optimizing waste.
**Key Outputs / Deliverables**
+ Development of reporting and analytical tools in Demand area;
+ Integrate processes with Information System applications (SAP)
to reduce manual activities and improve automatism;
+ Implement processes improvements to deliver tangible benefits (e.g.: time saving, increased efficiencies, etc.);

**What will make you successful**
+ Degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science/Data Engineering, Management Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
+ Short experience in Supply Chain/Operations
+ Good knowledge of Excel, Power BI (SAP is a plus)
+ Strong communication and relational skills
+ Collaborate proactively with innovative and constructive approach
+ Strong numerical and analytical mindset, comfortable working with data and figures
+ Curiosity for new technologies (e.g. Artificial Intelligence) and their application to business processes
+ Mental agility, insight, analysis and synthesis
+ Fluent in English and Italian
**What You Will Learn**
During this internship, you will develop demand planning expertise, forecasting and analytical skills through SAP, Power BI, Power Query and reporting tools.
You will also strengthen stakeholder management capabilities by collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams in a dynamic FMCG environment

An interview focused on Demand Planning, forecasting and business analytics.
You may be asked to discuss academic projects or experiences involving data analysis, reporting tools and problem solving, demonstrating your analytical mindset, ability to derive actionable insights from data and willingness to collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain stakeholders.
