Alexander Steele Recruitment is supporting aAumenti le sue possibilità di arrivare alla fase del colloquio leggendo la descrizione completa del lavoro e candidandosi tempestivamente.highly confidential searchfor an experienced General Manager to lead an established FMCG / consumer goods business in Italy.This is a senior, end-to-end leadership position with responsibility for the overall performance, strategic direction and continued development of the business.The General Manager will provide leadership across commercial and operational functions, with accountability for delivering sustainable growth, profitability and organisational performance.Key responsibilitiesTake overall responsibility for the performance and strategic direction of the business.Hold fullP&L accountability, ensuring delivery against financial and commercial objectives.Develop and execute the long-term business and growth strategy.Lead and develop a senior, cross-functional leadership team.Drive commercial performance across customers, channels and markets.Work closely with operations and supply chain to ensure strong business performance.Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and market position.Lead organisational development,



change and continuous improvement.Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.Create a high-performance culture with clear accountability throughout the organisation.We are looking for an established senior leader with:Significant experience as aGeneral Manager, Managing Director or senior Business Unit leader .Proven full P&L responsibility within a sizeable organisation.Strong experience withinFMCG, food manufacturing or consumer goods .A track record of delivering profitable growth and business improvement.Strong commercial understanding combined with exposure to manufacturing / operations.Experience leading senior, cross-functional teams.Strong strategic, financial and organisational leadership capability.Experience operating within Italy or comparable European markets.Fluent Italian and English.This appointment is being managed on astrictly confidential basis.
