Overview
In this role you drive modernization sales for ABB service offerings in Italy, collaborating across Product Management, Engineering, Service and Sales to deliver upgraded solutions that boost customer performance. You will develop market opportunities, manage lifecycle of service offerings, and support go-to-market activities to achieve growth and customer satisfaction. The position combines strategic market insight with technical positioning and cross-functional leadership to advance ABB’s modernization agenda.

Responsabilità
- Drive lifecycle management of service offerings from market analysis to deployment and improvement
- Identify opportunities within installed base and market to promote upgrades and modernization programs
- Act as the interface between Product Management, Engineering, Service and Customers to translate needs into solutions
- Support technical specifications, roadmaps, pricing, and portfolio positioning
- Assist Sales and Marketing in launching and promoting new offerings with materials and events
- Provide technical expertise during customer discussions, proposals, and reviews
- Develop training materials and deliver product/solution training to internal teams and partners
- Foster continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional collaboration to support customer satisfaction and long-term relationships
Requisiti fondamentali
- Senior experience in a similar role
- Technical background; ABB DCS systems knowledge is a plus
- Experience in identifying customer needs and translating them into value-added solutions (upgrades, retrofits, modernization)
- Strong business acumen and market awareness supporting portfolio development and commercial initiatives
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with stakeholders at various levels
- Fluent in Italian and English
