Overview
In this strategic role, you will steer industrial and operational activities across two production sites to drive performance and growth. You will work with local and international leadership to advance operational excellence, energy efficiency, and plant modernization within a circular economy context. You’ll shape the operations organization, implement Lean and CI initiatives, and partner with senior leadership to support long-term objectives. This is a hands-on leadership role with substantial impact on safety, quality, and financial results.

Responsabilità
- Lead operations across two manufacturing sites
- Own industrial performance and operational P&L;
- Direct Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and HSE functions
- Develop and lead an operational team of ~30 employees
- Define and monitor operational, quality, and financial KPIs
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- Manage industrial CAPEX plans and investment priorities
- Ensure compliance with HSE, environmental, and quality standards
- Interface with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders
- Support energy efficiency and sustainability programs
- Lead plant modernization and industrial transformation projects
- Partner with senior management to support growth and long-term objectives
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
- Proven experience as Operations Director, Plant Director, Manufacturing Director or similar
- Background in continuous processing/transformation industries (food, pet food, rendering, chemicals, ingredients, agribusiness, biomass)
- Experience managing multi-site operations in complex manufacturing environments
- Solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and CI methodologies
- Strong understanding of HSE regulations and integrated management systems
- Outstanding leadership, people management, and change management capabilities
- Fluent Italian and English
- Willingness to travel regularly between production sites
