# Embedded Software & Data Processing Engineer **Posting Date:** 22 Sept 2026 **City:** Roma **Location:** * Roma, Italy, 00131 * La Spezia, Italy, 19124 * Torino, Italy, 10144 * Rozzano, Italy, 20089 * Genova, Italy, 16129 **Contract Type:** Permanent **Division:** Operating Engine **Level of experience:** Intermediate RINA is currently recruiting for a **Embedded Software & Data Processing Engineer** to join its office in Rome within the **Operating Engine** Division. ## Mission Rina is looking for a Software Embedded Engineer in **Rome**, to partecipate and supervise software development activities. In particular, this position focusing on designing, developing and verifying embedded software for A&D; field. ## Qualifications The following technical skills are required: * Advanced knowledge of C/C++ programming languages. * Experience with interpreted and scientific programming languages such as Python and MATLAB. * Experience in the development of Embedded Real-Time Systems. * Proficiency with Linux-based development environments and embedded Linux platforms. * Experience with x86 and ARM architectures. * Knowledge of cross-compilation environments and C/C++ cross-compilers for embedded targets. * Experience with software build systems and development toolchains, including Makefiles, Docker, and DevOps workflows. ## Education * Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Other * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General ## Competencies * FORESIGHT & INSIGHT - Context awareness adopting a systemic perspective and informed decision making.

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between **€31,000 and €40,000** and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role.In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements. The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
