Overview

As EU Category Manager for Indirect & Services, you own the regional sourcing strategy and supplier relationships within a fast-paced industrial automation environment. You will align EU activities with global category leadership while addressing regional specifics, driving cost reductions and value through multi-stakeholder collaboration. You will lead strategic sourcing, negotiations, and supplier performance programs with a focus on risk, compliance, sustainability, and long-term partnerships. This role offers regional ownership with global exposure and a path to impact across divisions.

Responsabilità

- Lead international indirect & services sourcing network and ensure competitive supplier panel
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms; establish performance-based contracts and monitor KPIs
- Manage spend and savings via Long-Term Saving Plan across the portfolio
- Oversee Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) to drive performance and continuous improvement




- Ensure compliance with ATS policies and integrate risk mitigation and sustainability in supplier selection and contracting
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and manage strategic sourcing opportunities
- Serve as EU point of contact for indirect sourcing issues; ensure governance and business continuity
- Coordinate EU execution with global category leads to align with global direction and regional needs

Requisiti fondamentali

- Minimum 5–8 years in strategic sourcing in international manufacturing
- Strong analytical mindset; ability to work with ERP-derived data
- Proven track record in commercial negotiations with international suppliers for multi-million euro spend
- English mandatory; additional languages a plus
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership in multicultural environments
