Overview

In this role you will act as a design authority for an engineering discipline within ABB Robotics, delivering multiple projects cost-effectively while upholding contract, quality, safety, and cybersecurity standards. You’ll shape customer solutions, manage work plans and costs, and coordinate manufacturing, testing, installation, and commissioning. You’ll also coach peers on translating designs into engineering documentation and leveraging lessons learned. This role sits in a high-performing, innovation-driven team shaping the future of robotics in Italy.

Responsabilità

- Engage with customers to shape solutions and drive improvements based on feedback
- Create work plans and cost estimates for project portfolios ensuring timely, within-budget delivery




- Coordinate with functions to ensure designs are manufactured, tested, installed and commissioned
- Coach engineering colleagues on translating concepts into documentation and applying best practices
- Contribute to project execution across multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects

Requisiti fondamentali

- Degree in Engineering (Mechanics, Electrical or related field) with Master in Robotics preferred
- 5 years of experience in Automation systems
- Leadership, autonomous working style, stakeholder management, organization and planning
- Proficient in English and Italian communication
