Overview

In this role you lead and support R&D activities in the Transformer Business Unit, delivering on-time results within budget and quality standards. You’ll collaborate with global PMs and stakeholders to shape business cases and product introductions, and you’ll supervise design, prototyping, testing, and risk management for new transformer technologies. You’ll document findings and contribute to training and failure-prevention programs, making an impact across international teams.

Responsabilità

- Lead and manage R&D; projects ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality
- Support project managers and product managers with business cases, cost evaluations, and market introduction plans
- Perform transformer electrical design or design reviews and oversee manufacturing/testing of prototypes
- Assess and mitigate risks related to new technologies and solutions
- Perform finite element simulations for transformers for projects or troubleshooting
- Share knowledge via technical reports,



specifications, and training participation
- Document R&D; results in reports and presentations
- Support failure analysis activities and failure-prevention programs

Requisiti fondamentali

- Master’s degree in electrical engineering (or recognized equivalent)
- Experience in transformer electrical design or design review with finite element tools
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and structured approach
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Python or other programming languages (plus)
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders across remote locations
- Experience with finite element simulations (magnetic and/or dielectric)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Innovative, creative mindset with proactive approach
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
