Scope of the position:
Define the configuration and the sizing of the product systems, and related equipment (including auxiliary systems),
in respect of contractual requirements and guaranteed performances.
Responsibilities
- Design the process for systems and size the relevant components
- Ensure expected operation applying knowledge and practice related to functional aspects of components and plants
- Issue components technical specification, data sheets, functional requirements for RFQ
- Estimate thermal loads on components and design their cooling systems, applying knowledge of heat exchange fundamentals and cooling technologies
- Define main instrumentation to be installed in plants and components
- Size pipeline and parts for piping lines (pipes, holders, drains, vents, valves, insulation, …) in accordance with process operation and performances requirements
- Calculate and measure performances for components and plant and identify proper corrective actions in case of misalignments
- Ensure the project to be compliant to international rules and standards
