Leonardo is one of the strategic industrial partners - together with British BAE Systems and Japanese Mitsubishi Heavy Industries – in the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), aimed at the development and production of a next-generation air system, defined as a 'system of systems'. Used for multi-domain defence operations, the system is characterised by a 'core platform' connected with other piloted and uncrewed peripheral adjunct systems. Lead in the provision of Commercial elements for the Life Cycle Management and for Bid Approval process.
Support line managers, by taking responsibility for the preparation of quotations and detailed Agreements including but not limited to Purchase Orders, Enabling Agreements, Technical Assistance Agreements, Service Level Agreements.
