In 2020, Ambienta became IIGCC member and in 2023, as one of very few asset managers, continued being a positive role model for the industry by committing to the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi). /ppbr / /ppstrongYour Role and Responsibilities: /strong /ppbr / /ppYou will join the cross-functional Sustainability Strategy (SS) team. This internal consulting group plays a crucial role in supporting the firm's investments across all asset classes and countries to deliver above-average market returns. The team collaborates closely with all investment teams to achieve these objectives. /ppbr / /ppIn your role, you will support senior team members by analysing industry trends and environmental issues, as well as assessing business cases and investment opportunities across various sectors influenced by these environmental trends. You will work under the guidance of a senior team member, allowing you to effectively contribute while enhancing your expertise in sustainability and investment strategy.
/ppbr / /ppYour main task will be: /pulliTo conduct analysis to build, update, and maintain Ambienta’s knowledge on environmental trends and industrial sectors. Develop insights on the impact of environmental trends on value chains, identifying successful business models and their competitive advantages. /liliTo assist senior SS team members and investment professionals in analysing investment opportunities. The main objectives are: to drive the generation of investment ideas, engage with target companies, enhance due diligence for effective investment selection, and provide support throughout the investment lifecycle as needed. This work is primarily focused on the phases leading up to the final investment decision. /liliTo prepare Environmental Impact Analyses for companies and targets across asset classes (Private and Public), applying impact methodologies to ensure consistency. This involves collecting data from target and portfolio companies, analysing results using new and existing models, and preparing reports for investors. /liliTo contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for various stakeholders’ engagement activities within the firm. This includes creating presentations for new investment ideas, internal knowledge meetings, investor relations, the development of new financial products, and other general purposes. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongYour Skills /strong /ppbr / /pulliOutstanding academic background from Engineering Universities or other STEM disciplines. /lili1-3 years of experience within a major professional services organization/consulting firm or within the strategy/BD/MA department of relevant industry players. /liliFamiliarity with a specific industrial sector (e.G., Industrial Machinery, Waste management, Chemicals, etc.). /liliInterest in environmental topics. /liliA proactive attitude and the ability to work in a team. /liliThe ability to manage multiple streams of activities and meet deadlines. /liliLanguages: fluent in English and Italian; br / other languages will beconsidered a plus. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongLocation /strong /ppMilan Office as a starting location. /ppbr / /p
