ph3About the role /h3 pLotus is looking for an experienced bField Service Engineer /b to provide advanced technical support across our Italian Dealer network. /p pActing as a key link between our Dealers and Lotus Head Office technical teams, you’ll take the lead on complex vehicle issues, supporting difficult repairs and helping our Dealer network continually strengthen its technical capability. /p pThis is a hands-on, field-based role where your technical expertise will directly contribute to improved first-time fix rates, reduced repeat repairs and an exceptional experience for Lotus customers. /p pbLocation: Milan, Italy /b /p h3What you’ll do /h3 ul lipProvide hands-on technical support to diagnose and resolve complex and non-routine vehicle faults. /p /li lipSupport Dealers with difficult or repeat repairs where standard diagnostics have not resolved the issue. /p /li lipAnalyse field data, vehicle behaviour and repair histories to identify root causes. /p /li lipWork closely with Lotus Head Office Technical Support to identify and escal ate emerging field issues. /p /li lipProvide technical guidance on repair methods, diagnostics and fault-finding techniques. /p /li lipCoach and mentor Dealer technicians, improving diagnostic capability, repair quality and confidence. /p /li lipIdentify technical competency gaps and provide structured feedback to Head Office. /p /li lipSupport regional technical training plans and work with the Lotus Training Academy on development requirements. /p /li lipDeliver practical technical coaching and demonstrations within the Dealer network. /p /li lipSupport Dealers with escalated customer cases, explaining complex technical matters clearly where required. /p /li lipProvide field insight to our Warranty and Quality teams and support technical investigations.
/p /li lipContribute to the continuous improvement of Lotus Aftersales technical processes and standards. /p /li /ul h3What we’re looking for /h3 ul lipProven experience as a bField Service Engineer, Master Technician /b, or within a similar technical Aftersales position. /p /li lipStrong diagnostic capability across complex belectrical, electronic and mechanical systems /b. /p /li lipExcellent technical problem-solving and fault-finding skills. /p /li lipStrong communication skills, with the confidence to explain technical issues to both technicians and customers. /p /li lipExperience coaching or mentoring technical teams. /p /li lipAbility to work independently in the field and effectively prioritise workload. /p /li lipA customer-focused approach with a strong commitment to quality and service excellence. /p /li lipbFluent Italian and English. /b /p /li /ul h3What success looks like /h3 pYou’ll help improve Dealer technical performance and first-time fix rates while reducing escalations and repeat repairs.
