pDue to expansion, the Technical Design and Delivery team is looking to hire an Assistant Manager/Manager with MEP design background to support external design team management and design review work. /ppbr / /ppstrongResponsibilities /strong /pp - Assist in data centre design and construction phases for site management and construction quality control. /pp - Monitor construction activities closely on a regular basis and ensure the data centre facility is built to group's standard. /pp - Responsible for the review and approval of design consultant’s work to ensure design documents are sufficiently developed with all necessary engineering calculations in place. /pp - Responsible for communicating with design consultants to ensure all required deliverables are achieved. /pp - Responsible for maintaining K2 internal engineering standard with particular focus on HVAC and plumbing systems (Mechanical) or power distribution systems (Electrical). /pp - Support project commissioning and final handover activities. /pp - Support of K2 internal engineering design and development activities. /pp - Establish engineering and operation procedures following K2 standard. /pp - Responsible for the team growth and development /ppbr / /ppstrongWorking environment entails /strong /pulliWalking job sites which have areas of uneven terrain. /liliWork at heights. /liliWork in a noisy environment. /liliWork in confined spaces.
/liliWork environment applicable to operation team /liliRegularly lift and/or move items and participate in group lifts. /liliWork shifts longer than eight hours in duration. /liliCo-ordinate body movements when using tools or equipment. /liliMay require bending or twisting the body to access equipment while working. /liliInvolves performing physical tasks all day. /liliUse hands to manipulate small wires and objects. /liliPush or pull objects into position. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongInterpersonal Requirements /strong /pp - Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service. /pp - Calm Manner, able to work under pressure. /pp - Self-motivated, ability to work on own initiative. /pp - Punctual and reliable. /pp - Good attention to detail. /ppbr / /ppstrongSkills set and Qualifications Requirements /strong /pp - 6 years’ minimum working experience in building services design and construction project delivery (data centre projects preferred). /pp - Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering /pp - Chartered Engineer preferred /pp - Good knowledge in Mechanical or Electrical design with a good understanding on data centre project and relevant MEP software modelling. /pp - Proficiency in MS Office (e.G., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) with experience in Mechanical software, such as IES or 6 Sigma or Electrical software like Etap. /pp - Good command of written and spoken English. Additional language skills such as Chinese/ Italy/ Finnish / Spanish will be an added advantage to liaise with overseas counterparts /ppbr / /p
