Overview
In this role you will lead customer engagement for ABB’s sub-transmission portfolio (72.5–145 kV DTB), bridging product management and sales. You will shape go-to-market plans, drive market expansion in the US, and ensure SF6-free, digital-ready solutions meet utility needs. You’ll act as the primary technical interface, influence standards, and build ecosystem partnerships that guide product evolution and adoption. This is a remote, impact-driven position with cross-functional collaboration to push ABB’s market leadership.

Responsabilità
- Drive U.S. sub-transmission market expansion by developing new utility/EPC/OEM opportunities and go-to-market plans
- Lead configuration discussions, advanced feature evaluations, and pre-sales solution design as the primary technical interface
- Ensure IEEE/ANSI compliance and represent ABB in industry bodies to influence specifications
- Build strategic ecosystem partnerships and guide product evolution, digital integration, and SF6-free technology adoption
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering (or Master in Electrical Engineering)
- 10+ years of experience in high voltage equipment, preferably circuit breakers or substation components
- Deep understanding of sub-transmission applications and US utility processes
- Proven experience in technical sales, product management, or business development
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with vacuum interrupter technology and SF6-free solutions/regulation
- Familiarity with IEEE/ANSI standards for HV products
- Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally
