ppAre you ready to join a leading global renewable energy company that is making a positive impact on the world? /p pbX-ELIO, /b a Brookfield-owned company and a global leader in the renewable energy sector; with over 3 GW of renewable projects (solar/BESS) built, we currently operate in 12 countries and have a development pipeline of 12 GW of solar and 14 GW of BESS capacity, and bwe are looking for you! /b /p pbReporting to: /b Engineering Manager /p pbBased in: /b Roma, Italy /p pbOpen opportunity: /b Project Engineer /p pIn this role, the selected professional will bring solar projects to life by designing high-performing PV power plants, contributing to feasibility studies, and overseeing construction designs and technical documentation from concept to delivery. /p h3What will you do? /h3 ul liOptimal design of photovoltaic installations to schematic and detailed design documentation, including calculations, specifications, and drawings. /li liHandle interconnection process with the utility. /li liQuantity Survey and budgeting of designs to produce the design BOQ. /li liControl the legal and technical processing of photovoltaic projects in the portfolio. /li liManage and communicate engineering/technical input to site evaluation and characterization. /li liOversee and manage the PV technical layout during the greenfield, origination, and RTB process, ensuring feasibility and optimization at each stage. /li liRepresent X-ELIO in meetings, negotiation with clients, EPC contractors, suppliers, consultants, utilities, and regulatory authorities. /li liAssess different locations and/or projects through site visits. /li /ul h3What do we need? /h3 ul liBEng, with focus on Electrical or Energy engineering. A master's degree in Photovoltaic, Renewable Energy or similar would be considered a plus. /li liMinimum 2 years of experience in the design of photovoltaic power plants.
