Resina Partners is supporting an international engineering polymer distributor in the search for a Business Development Manager to lead healthcare activities across Italy, Iberia, Benelux and Turkey .
The company:
A well-established international distributor of engineering plastics and specialty compounds, working with leading global producers and serving the medical, automotive, electrical and industrial markets across Europe.
Healthcare is a strategic growth segment for the group, supported by a dedicated European team and a portfolio of medical-grade materials .
The role:
Your core market is Italy , where the customer relationships already exist and need cultivating rather than building from scratch. Alongside that, you will open and develop business across Iberia, Benelux and Turkey .
You will report locally within the Italian organisation and functionally into the European healthcare team.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and grow the established Italian healthcare customer base
- Identify and develop new business at medical OEMs and brands in Iberia, Benelux and Turkey
- Build relationships with the decision-makers who drive material specification
- Develop segment plans and track specification targets and pipeline growth
- Monitor market trends, unmet needs and regulatory developments across the assigned regions
- Manage leads, opportunities and projects in CRM through to handover to sales
- Represent the company at fairs,
conferences and customer presentations
- Provide healthcare expertise internally: sales training, case studies, product launches
Requirements:
- Solid experience in the medical / healthcare value chain
- Knowledge of medical-grade plastics, certifications and regulatory compliance
- Fluent Italian and English
- Based in Italy , with willingness to travel approximately 40%
- Hunter mindset : comfortable with cold outreach and discovery, not only with an existing portfolio
Preferred backgrounds:
- Business development, sales or marketing at distributors, compounders or producers serving medical
- Technical or product managers at medical device manufacturers , ready to move into a commercial role

Compensation:
€55k–€85k base , depending on proven healthcare experience , plus premio and benefits.
Location: Italy (remote / flexible). Approximately 40% travel across the assigned regions.
