PositionOverview

WeareseekinganexperiencedDirectorofPharmacytooverseeoperationsacrosstwoFQHCCommunityHealthCentersinOakland,CaliforniathatfocusonprovidinghealthservicestotheBIPOCcommunity.ServingasthePharmacist-in-Charge(PIC),thisrolecombinesleadership,operationaloversight,andadeepcommitmenttocommunityhealthcare.TheDirectorwillleadthePharmacy&Therapeutics;(P&T;)Committee,managethe340BDrugPricingProgram,andensurecompliancewithallfederalandstateregulationswhilementoringadedicatedteam.

TheFQHCCommunityHealthClinichasbeeninoperationforover20yearsandoffersMentalHealth,PrimaryCareMedical,PhysicalTherapy,&DentistryservicestotheBIPOCcommunity.;

KeyResponsibilities

- Leadday-to-daypharmacyoperationsandmaintaincompliancewithCaliforniaBoardofPharmacyandHRSAstandards.
- ServeasPICforaudits,licensing,andqualityinitiatives.
- DirecttheP&TCommittee;,ensuringsafeandeffectiveformularymanagement.




- Overseethe340BDrugPricingProgramwithfullHRSAcompliance.
- Mentorpharmacists,technicians,interns,andexterns.
- EnsurethepharmacyisinfullcompliancewithAlamedaCounty,ContraCostaCounty,CaliforniaandFederalregulations
- Manageprocurement,inventory,andmedicationstorage.
- Collaboratewithproviderstooptimizemedicationsafetyandcostefficiency.
- Supporteducationalandoutreachprogramswithinthecommunity.

Requirements:

- PharmDorBPharmfromanaccreditedinstitution.
- ActiveCaliforniaPharmacistlicense.
- Minimum5yearsofpharmacyexperience;FQHCexperiencepreferred.
- Proven340BProgrammanagement;priorPICexperiencepreferred.
- Strongleadershipandcommunicationskills.
- Spanish-speakingabilitypreferred.
