Our partner is looking for an Automation Tester with IRS MBI clearance based in Italy. /b /p pAs an Automation Tester, you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and security of software supporting an IRS code modernization initiative.br/You will translate project requirements into detailed test plans, test cases, and automated testing workflows.br/The role combines manual and automated testing, defect management, regression testing, and acceptance testing across the software lifecycle.br/You will work closely with developers and other stakeholders to identify issues, validate fixes, and maintain high quality standards.br/Your work will also support backend validation involving APIs and databases while contributing to CI/CD processes.br/Beyond executing tests, you will help improve testing practices and increase efficiency through automation and process enhancements.br/This is an opportunity to contribute to a mission-focused modernization project within a collaborative, quality-driven remote environment. /p h3Accountabilities: /h3 ulliAnalyze project requirements and translate them into clear test plans, test cases, and testing strategies. /liliSet up and maintain test environments and execute both manual and automated tests. /liliWrite, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using frameworks and tools such as Selenium or Cypress. /liliIdentify, document, and track defects while collaborating with development teams through resolution. /liliPerform regression testing and acceptance testing to verify that software changes meet functional and quality requirements. /liliSupport backend testing involving APIs and databases, including SQL-based validation where applicable. /liliParticipate in the full software development lifecycle and integrate testing activities into CI/CD processes. /liliReview test results and provide clear feedback on software quality, defects, and potential risks. /liliHelp identify opportunities to improve testing processes,
automation coverage, efficiency, and overall software quality. /liliContribute to non-functional testing activities, including accessibility, performance, and security testing when required. /liliCollaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout testing and delivery activities. /li /ul h3Requirements: /h3 ulli5+ years of relevant professional experience in software testing or quality assurance. /liliActive IRS MBI clearance is required. /liliBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; additional relevant experience may be required in lieu of a degree. /liliDemonstrated experience writing and executing software test scripts. /liliHands‑on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium or Cypress. /liliFamiliarity with manual testing, regression testing, acceptance testing, and automated testing methodologies. /liliExperience with backend testing, APIs, and databases; SQL knowledge is a plus. /liliUnderstanding of CI/CD practices and the broader software development lifecycle. /liliStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail. /liliStrong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non‑technical teams. /liliGood time management, organization, and teamwork skills. /liliExperience with Microsoft tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. /liliExperience with accessibility, performance, or security testing is a plus. /li /ul h3Benefits: /h3 ulliAnnual salary of $100,000-$130,000. /liliFull‑time remote position. /liliOpportunity to support an IRS code modernization initiative. /liliHands‑on exposure to test automation, manual testing, backend validation, APIs, databases, and CI/CD. /liliOpportunity to work with modern automation testing tools and frameworks. /liliCollaborative environment with opportunities to contribute to testing process improvements. /liliOpportunity to play a direct role in improving software reliability, security, and quality. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
