Reporting to the Technical Project Manager, and based in Rome , we are looking for a Project Engineer .
What will you do? Optimal design of photovoltaic installations to schematic and detailed design documentation, including calculations, specifications, and drawings.
Oversee and manage the PV technical layout during the greenfield, origination, and RTB process, ensuring feasibility and optimization at each stage.
Handle interconnection process with the utility.
Quantity Survey and budgeting of designs to produce the design BOQ.
Control the legal and technical processing of photovoltaic projects in the portfolio.
Manage and communicate engineering/technical input to site evaluation and characterization.
Represent X-ELIO in meetings, negotiation with clients, EPC contractors, suppliers, consultants, utilities, and regulatory authorities. Assess different locations and/or projects through site visits.
What do we need? BEng,
with focus on Electrical or Energy engineering. A master's degree in Photovoltaic, Renewable Energy or similar would be considered a plus.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the design of photovoltaic power plants.
Familiar with international Standards for solar PV systems, and other relevant standards.
Computer/Design Software literacy: PVSyst, AutoCAD, MS Office, including advanced MS Excel, AutoCAD. Electrical design software: ETAP, dmELECT, PLS-Cadd or similar, desired.
Advanced level of English and Italian.
