JOIN CMA CGM AS A PROCUREMENT OFFICER SPECIALIZING IN INTERMODAL AND DEPOT SERVICES!
CMA CGM, a global leader in maritime transport and logistics, is seeking a motivated and skilled professional to optimize the procurement processes for intermodal and depot services. In this strategic role, reporting to the Regional Office (RO) Inland Procurement Manager, you will manage annual tenders, direct negotiations, and spot purchasing. You will collaborate with local and international teams to reduce costs, enhance supplier relationships, and elevate service levels across all agencies in your scope.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
✅ Annual Tenders and Direct Negotiations
- Identify potential suppliers in collaboration with local intermodal teams, ensuring a competitive and diverse bidding environment.
- Gather commercial requirements from local teams and define new services to be procured.
- Coordinate the entire tender process: from drafting Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to evaluating bids and selecting suppliers.
- Conduct direct negotiations with selected suppliers to secure favorable prices, optimal service levels, and risk mitigation.
- Formalize agreements through Transport Contracts.
- Negotiate, manage, and monitor Depot Service Contracts, ensuring competitive commercial conditions, operational performance, contractual compliance, and alignment with CMA CGM’s business requirements.
✅ Spot Negotiations
- Continuously analyze market trends to identify opportunities for spot renegotiations or flow quota optimization.
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers for one-off purchases, aiming to achieve the best possible terms.
✅ Supplier Qualification and Continuous Improvement
- Establish qualification criteria for subcontractors and conduct assessments to ensure compliance with company standards (quality, reliability, compliance).
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings within the procurement function.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in procurement roles within multinational organizations.
- Specific experience in intermodal and/or depot sectors (mandatory requirement).
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, tender management, and contract negotiation.
- Willingness to travel across Europe.
Key Knowledge:
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (advanced Excel).
- In-depth knowledge of the intermodal market, depots, and container transport.
- Established supplier network and strong commercial awareness.
- Fluent English (mandatory).
- Knowledge of other European languages (preferred).

WHAT WE OFFER:
- Employment under the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for Maritime Agencies, Shipping Agents, and Maritime Brokers.
- Gross annual salary between €50,000 and €65,000, depending on experience and skills.
- Daily meal vouchers worth €10.
