Location: Poppi (AR) or Oleggio (NO)
Your Tasks as Local Buyer: Procurement Management: You are responsible for the operational procurement of raw materials for our production site in Poppi, near Florence, and, when required, for our second Italian site in Oleggio.
Inventory Planning: You ensure the timely purchasing of direct materials and, where necessary, indirect materials based on inventory targets, minimum stock levels, and supplier lead times.
Supplier Performance Management: You manage supplier relationships and continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
SAP Data & Systems: You maintain purchasing master data and procurement parameters within SAP, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
Purchase Order Management: You oversee the complete purchase order process, including administration and follow-up activities.
Stakeholder Collaboration: You collaborate closely with colleagues across Warehouse, Finance, Planning, R&D;, and Manufacturing to support smooth operations and supply continuity.
Inventory Excellence: You actively contribute to inventory optimization initiatives, including the reduction of SLOB (Slow-Moving and Obsolete Inventory).
Your Qualifications / Competencies as Local Buyer: You hold a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Alternatively, you have completed relevant vocational training combined with several years of professional experience in a similar role.
You possess solid hands‑on experience working with SAP and have a strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
You enjoy working in an international and multicultural environment and thrive in cross‑functional teams.
You are fluent in Italian and have a good command of English, enabling you to communicate effectively in a business context.




You are willing to relocate to Poppi/Oleggio or the surrounding area, or you are already based nearby.
Salary Range and Duration We offer a competitive compensation package aligned with the candidate's qualifications, skills, and professional experience. The annual gross salary range for this position is EUR 32,000 to EUR 40,000, with the final offer determined based on the candidate's background and expertise. The contract will have a duration of 12 months and may be converted into a permanent employment contract at the end of this period.
