Offer Description Research activities should focus on the modeling near-field wireless channels at 60 GHz. The work starts with the experimental analysis of antenna transmission properties in the near field, considering transmitter–receiver separations from a few millimeters up to approximately 20 cm, with different placement between the two elements. Propagation channel should be characterized through relevant performance indicators, such as SNR, BER and channel response under the different antenna configurations. An extensive measurement campaign, the resulting dataset,



which comprises transmitter/receiver configurations and the corresponding channel metrics, will be used to develop proper AI-based models, with the objective to generalize the channel characterization process, enabling the prediction of near-field 60 GHz link performance for multiple transmitter–receiver pairs from their measurable physical and electromagnetic characteristics.

Selection process It is provided a score for CV, titles and pubblications with a maximum cumulative score of 60 and another score for the oral examination up to a maximum value of 40. The final score is given by the cumulative score given to the CV, titles, pubblications and oral examination. The candidate with the highest score will get the position
