MECHANICAL CXM – MILAN | DATA CENTRE | GC SIDE
Milan calling… and this time it’s not for Fashion Week.
We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Manager (CXM) to join a major data centre project in Milan , working on the General Contractor (GC) side .
The Role
You’ll take the lead on mechanical commissioning activities, coordinating teams, subcontractors and vendors and driving systems through testing, commissioning and close-out.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and manage mechanical commissioning activities from planning through to completion
Coordinate commissioning teams, subcontractors and specialist vendors
Oversee pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems
Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules and procedures
Review commissioning documentation, method statements and test procedures
Coordinate closely with construction, QA/QC and project management teams
Monitor commissioning progress and identify potential delays
Manage issues,



defects and commissioning documentation through to close-out
Ensure commissioning activities meet project specifications and client requirements
Attend commissioning and progress meetings with the wider project team
Maintain a strong focus on HSE throughout all commissioning activities
Requirements
Proven Mechanical CXM / Commissioning Manager experience
Data centre experience is essential
EU passport is required
Previous GC-side experience
Strong mechanical commissioning background
Experience managing subcontractors, vendors and commissioning teams
Strong understanding of commissioning processes and mechanical systems
