So, everything we do at CNH Industrial is about reaching new heights as one team, always delivering for the good of our customers. /ph3Job Purpose /h3ulliThe selected candidate will support the development of next-generation off-road vehicles, contributing to engineering decisions from the earliest concept development phases through final product validation. /liliThe Vehicle Performance Fluid Power Engineer is responsible for defining, evaluating and optimizing vehicle-level performance through engineering analysis, virtual simulations, system modeling and experimental correlation activities, working across powertrain, driveline, hydraulic, electrified and vehicle systems. /liliThe candidate will be requested to perform early-phase concept simulations, enabling architecture trade-off studies and virtual assessment of emerging technologies before hardware is available, within complex multidisciplinary projects coordinated across global engineering organizations. /liliThe selected candidate will contribute to the evaluation of innovative solutions including advanced fluid power systems, hybrid powertrains, vehicle electrification and alternative fuel technologies, supporting the transition toward more sustainable and efficient off-road machines. /li /ulh3Key Responsibilities /h3h3Vehicle Performance Engineering /h3ulliAnalyze and optimize vehicle productivity, fuel efficiency, energy utilization and overall machine performance. /liliSupport vehicle target setting and requirements definition. /liliPerform vehicle-level powerflow and energy balance analyses. /liliAssess driveline efficiency, traction capability and operational performance. /liliConduct competitive benchmarking and technology assessments. /li /ulh3Fluid Power Engineering /h3ulliDevelop and validate hydraulic architectures, subsystems and components. /liliAnalyze hydraulic efficiency and power losses at component, subsystem and vehicle level. /liliOptimize system performance considering control strategies, energy consumption and customer usage profiles. /liliSupport definition of innovative fluid power solutions for future vehicle platforms. /li /ulh3Hybridization,



Electrification Alternative Fuels /h3ulliSupport feasibility studies and system integration activities for hybrid and electrified vehicle architectures. /liliEvaluate power management strategies between conventional and electrified subsystems. /liliAssess energy flows, battery utilization and overall system efficiency. /liliAnalyze the impact of alternative fuels (HVO, Biodiesel, LNG, CNG, Hydrogen and future low-carbon solutions) on vehicle performance and efficiency. /liliSupport technology roadmaps and concept selection activities for sustainable vehicle development. /li /ulh3Early Phase Concept Development Virtual Engineering /h3ulliPerform early-phase concept simulations to support architecture decisions before prototype availability. /liliConduct trade-off analyses between competing concepts and technologies. /liliDevelop virtual assessment methodologies for vehicle performance, fuel economy, productivity and hydraulic efficiency. /liliSupport shift-left engineering initiatives through model-based development approaches. /liliGenerate data-driven recommendations to accelerate development and reduce program risk. /li /ulh3Simulation System Modeling /h3ulliDevelop and maintain high-fidelity and reduced-order simulation models. /liliExecute virtual validation activities at component, subsystem and full vehicle level. /liliCorrelate simulation outputs with experimental measurements. /liliSupport model-based engineering processes throughout the product development cycle. /liliUtilize simulation environments such as AMESim, MATLAB/Simulink and other engineering analysis tools. /li /ulh3Project Leadership Stakeholder Management /h3ulliLead technical workstreams within complex multidisciplinary projects. /liliCoordinate activities among global engineering teams and multiple stakeholders. /liliDrive technical alignment and decision-making processes. /liliPresent simulation results, technical recommendations and project updates to management and engineering leadership. /liliSupport project planning, risk identification and mitigation activities. /liliInterface with suppliers, research partners and external engineering organizations when required. /li /ulh3Experience Required /h3h3HARD SKILLS /h3ulliMaster's degree in mechanical, automotive, energy or aerospace engineering, or equivalent /liliProfessional industry experience in off-road, agriculture, construction, automotive or commercial vehicles industry - years of experience: 3-5 /liliKnowledge of vehicle performance, powertrain, driveline and energy management principles /liliKnowledge of fluid power systems: hydraulic architectures, subsystems,



components, efficiency and power losses /liliKnowledge of hybrid and electrified off-road vehicle architectures, vehicle energy management and alternative fuel technologies (HVO, Biodiesel, LNG, CNG, Hydrogen) /liliKnowledge of simulation environments such as AMESim, MATLAB/Simulink and other engineering analysis tools /liliSystems Engineering approach; Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) exposure would be an advantage /liliAdvanced optimization techniques and Design of Experiments (DoE), data analytics and visualization tools /liliDigital engineering and virtual validation methodologies; Artificial Intelligence applications for engineering workflows (preferred) /li /ulh3Soft Skills /h3ulliStrong systems engineering mindset and excellent analytical skills /liliAbility to translate complex technical information into actionable recommendations that drive business and product decisions /liliExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present simulation results and technical recommendations to management and engineering leadership /liliAbility to coordinate activities among global engineering teams and multiple stakeholders (product engineering, controls, validation, manufacturing, program management, suppliers and technical partners) /liliAbility to work both autonomously and as part of a global multidisciplinary team /liliCommitment to deadlines, milestones and set timelines /liliAvailability to Domestic and International travel. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliReady and willing to take accountability and responsibility in own actions and decisions /liliStrive towards autonomy /liliOpen and transparent communication /liliProvide overwhelming support and go beyond the expectations /liliGoal and solution (and not obstacles) driven. /li /ulh3Pay Transparency /h3pThe annual salary for this role is EUR €39,000.00 - plus any applicable premio (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
