I&C; Technician - Outage Contract
You will report onsite to various nuclear facilities in North and South Carolina.
You will report to the I&C; Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Plan, layout, assembles, installs and repairs instruments, both electronic and pneumatic, including primary piping and tubing.
Select type and size of pipe and related material according to job specification.
Installs, repairs, maintains, and adjusts indicating, recording and controlling instruments and test equipment, used to control and measure variables, such as pressure, flow, temperature, motion, and chemical composition , using precision instruments, and hand tools.
Measure, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs primary piping and tubing.
Read and interpret instructions and documentation and plan work activities.
May disassemble malfunctioning instruments or test equipment and examine and test mechanisms and circuitry for defects.
Inspect instruments and test equipment periodically and adjust calibration to ensure functioning within specified standards.
Install associated support structures, components and tubing.
Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
3 years' experience in I&C; field.
1 year of nuclear experience
High School diploma, GED or equivalent
Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing.

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $48/hour.
