ppFor an important international Cybersecurity project, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist / Application Security Engineer - Akamai WAF with solid experience in web application security and hands-on expertise in the management and configuration of Akamai Web Application Firewall solutions. The role will be performed in a full remote working model and will involve close collaboration with international technical and security teams. A good command of English is mandatory, as the resource will operate on a daily basis in an international environment. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liManagement and configuration of Akamai Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions. /li liDefinition, implementation and tuning of security policies. /li liAnalysis and management of false positives, anomalies and security events. /li liProtection of web applications and APIs from common cyber threats. /li liMonitoring and troubleshooting of WAF-related issues. /li liSupport in the analysis of web vulnerabilities and application security risks. /li liCollaboration with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Development and Application teams. /li liSupport in the management of security rules, signatures and protection mechanisms. /li liContribution to the continuous improvement of web application security controls.



/li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liAt least 3 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity, Application Security or a similar role. /li liHands-on experience with Akamai WAF. /li liGood knowledge of Web Application Security principles. /li liKnowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and common web vulnerabilities. /li liExperience in WAF policy management, rule tuning and application protection. /li liExperience in troubleshooting and security analysis activities. /li liGood analytical and problem-solving skills. /li liAbility to work autonomously and collaborate with distributed international teams. /li liProfessional working proficiency in English. /li /ul h3Experience with the following technologies will be considered a plus: /h3 ul liAkamai App API Protector /li liKona Site Defender /li liAPI Security /li liBot Management /li liDDoS Protection /li liSIEM and security monitoring tools /li /ul h3Availability Required /h3 pThe role is full remote. /p pAvailability to start ASAP is required. /p pThe project will be carried out in an international environment, therefore daily communication in English is expected. /p h3Compensation /h3 pGross annual salary range: €28,000 - €38,000, depending on experience and technical seniority. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
