pAlexander Steele Recruitment is supporting a bhighly confidential search /b for an experienced General Manager to lead an established FMCG / consumer goods business in Italy. /ppbr/ppThis is a senior, end-to-end leadership position with responsibility for the overall performance, strategic direction and continued development of the business. /ppbr/ppThe General Manager will provide leadership across commercial and operational functions, with accountability for delivering sustainable growth, profitability and organisational performance. /ppbr/ppKey responsibilities /pulliTake overall responsibility for the performance and strategic direction of the business. /liliHold full bPL accountability /b, ensuring delivery against financial and commercial objectives. /liliDevelop and execute the long-term business and growth strategy. /liliLead and develop a senior, cross-functional leadership team. /liliDrive commercial performance across customers, channels and markets. /liliWork closely with operations and supply chain to ensure strong business performance. /liliIdentify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and market position. /liliLead organisational development, change and continuous improvement. /liliBuild strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.



/liliCreate a high-performance culture with clear accountability throughout the organisation. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppbr/ppWe are looking for an established senior leader with: /ppbr/pulliSignificant experience as a bGeneral Manager, Managing Director or senior Business Unit leader /b. /liliProven full PL responsibility within a sizeable organisation. /liliStrong experience within bFMCG, food manufacturing or consumer goods /b. /liliA track record of delivering profitable growth and business improvement. /liliStrong commercial understanding combined with exposure to manufacturing / operations. /liliExperience leading senior, cross-functional teams. /liliStrong strategic, financial and organisational leadership capability. /liliExperience operating within Italy or comparable European markets. /liliFluent Italian and English. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppThis appointment is being managed on a bstrictly confidential basis /b.
