We are looking for a Global Product Quality Engineer to take ownership of product quality and reliability across the entire lifecycle of our EV charging portfolio. /ppFrom supporting new product introductions to driving field reliability improvements, you will play a key role in bringing the customer perspective into product development and manufacturing excellence. Working at the intersection of RD, Quality, Manufacturing, and Service, you will contribute directly to the performance, safety, and customer experience of industry-leading charging solutions while supporting the transition to sustainable mobility. /ppJoin us to help deliver reliable, high-quality charging solutions that are accelerating the future of sustainable transportation worldwide. /ph3Your Responsibilities /h3ulliOwn the quality performance and reliability of an assigned EV charging product family throughout its entire lifecycle, from New Product Development through field deployment and end-of-life. /liliRepresent the voice of the customer during product development reviews, ensuring quality, reliability, and user requirements are embedded in design decisions. /liliDrive product verification and validation activities, defining test strategies and ensuring comprehensive coverage of electrical, mechanical, environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements. /liliDevelop and implement effective quality control and testing strategies to support robust manufacturing processes and at-source quality assurance. /liliLead complex root cause investigations and corrective action programs using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, FMEA, and Ishikawa. /liliCollaborate closely with global RD, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Quality, Service,



and Contract Manufacturing partners to resolve product and production quality issues. /liliAnalyse quality and process performance data using SPC, process capability metrics (Cp/Cpk, Pp/Ppk), and other statistical tools to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. /liliApply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve product quality, manufacturing performance, and key business KPIs. /liliMaintain quality standards, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistent execution and compliance across the product lifecycle. /liliPromote a strong safety and quality culture by operating in line with ABB's environmental, health, and safety requirements. /li /ulh3Your background /h3ulliMaster's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. /lili5+ years of experience in Product Quality, Reliability Engineering, Verification Validation, or a similar technical role. /liliStrong understanding of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems and manufacturing processes. /liliExperience with product verification, reliability testing, and failure analysis methodologies. /liliAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. /liliWorking knowledge of Python for data analysis or test automation and familiarity with Linux environments. /liliFluent written and spoken English. /li /ulh3Nice to have /h3ulliIATF 16949, QS9000, or equivalent quality certification. /liliLean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. /liliExperience in EV charging, power electronics,

Our individual differences make us successful. /ph3Compensation Package /h3pThe employment framework is based on the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, with an indicative level of C3/B2 and a minimum gross annual salary starting from € 31.000,00. The specific level and compensation package will be defined based on the outcome of the selection process (including experience, skills set, and role fit), in accordance with objective, transparent, and gender-neutral criteria, in line with pay equity and equal opportunity principles.
